Fleet Factors Leeds depot has once again striven to support a local causes in the Leeds & Yorkshire area through the Community Fund Scheme. Since its creation, the Fleet Factors Community Fund has provided financial assistance to a wide range of community organisations and initiatives across the UK, including youth clubs, community centres, food banks, and mental health support groups.
The Halifax Community Fridge is open daily enabling residents and businesses to share surplus food and items that would otherwise be wasted, in turn this food is used to support families and residents in Halifax.
The genenrosity does not stop there, Leeds also recently supported The Bradford Central Foodbank with a very generous donation. The Bradford Central Food Bank received a whopping 129.6KG of food which will provide 190 meals to hungry families in Bradford. The food bank currently feeds 1205 people a month who are struggling to survive.
