Frequently asked questions

Is a deposit required?

Normally a deposit is not required, however, this can change and is subject to credit status. You can if you wish to optionally pay a deposit

How long is the lease?

The lease agreement term can vary from 24 to 60 months, depending on your credit status and budget.

Do you have to pay VAT upfront?

This is not normally required however this could be the case if the customer decides to take out hire purchase.

Are there any tax benefits from leasing equipment?

All purchases are eligible for tax relief and are classed as trading expenses.

Are there any hidden fees?

No, there is however a document fee which is applicable. The equipment purchased must be insured by you otherwise the equipment will be added to the banks block policy.

Can a new business lease equipment?

Yes, it is however slightly more difficult for new businesses and higher rates may apply. All lease agreements are subject to status and acceptance.
